This refers particularly to kicad-common 0. The circuit library 74xx. According to the respective data sheet, this part is wrong. Neither the gate symbol nor the pin assignment reflect the actual part.
Only the and 74S51 parts do not have the additional inputs.
Also, the output pin of part B is number 8, not 9 dxtasheet in the library. Texas Instruments offers a data sheet for this part here: I can confirm that this does not look exactly right currently using kicad-library with shorthash 4e from github. The part library for schematic symbols is not more maintained via the launchpad tools, they have moved to github.
