Annabelle had so much teen angst that her temper tantrums rival that of any two-year-old. While the romance does NOT directly affect the overall plot which is the threat to the Fae kingdom and to the human royal familythe romance is very significant.
I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. I don’t mean I couldn’t get behind the impossibility of it, after all we are dealing with fairies; however, I just couldn’t deal with the insta-love and then the continuation of girly love language in everything. How cool would it have been to dive into the centuries of hidden history and watch it intersect with the lineage of men?
Loved this series book one had me in tears at the end and i expected nothing less when i read book two. The world is changing – both human and Fae – and Emrys and the others will have to choose. English Choose a language for shopping. Their relationship starts as a curiosity friendship and a huge attraction to end up as true love. That’s pretty standard in YA fiction. Even though I seem to harp on the bad, it isn’t all bad, it just wasn’t for me.
To put it very politely, the reviews for this book were… atrocious, to say the least. If I could rate the first half of the book versus the second half of the book, the rating may look a lot better. View all 22 comments.

The plot was good as well, you could see the existing characters molding and changing, and the new ones fit right in. Finally what I feared happened, and to my surpr Okay, at first the book was getting on my nerves. But perhaps that isn’t totally true because sometimes now and then I enjoy a strictly romantic book.
Very highly recommended for fans of YA paranormal and fantasies, as well as those who enjoy stories about faeries and romance – with a bit of action and suspense mixed in as well. He was strong, clever, and determined. No, more than that, I wish there had been less angsty, kissy-face entirely and far more of the mythology that I enjoyed.
The plot of the book was incredibly unique and complex. Thanks for telling us about the problem. There was not a single thing I liked about this book.
What is it with the author and lions? I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via Edelweiss for purpose of honest review. The allusions to Camelot were also interesting and came to be an integral part of the story that added another element to the plot.
While I did like the world that the author built, I did feel it was lacking some in the magical ele I never read All That Glows. Richard is absolutely nowhere to be found, except for a hot minute at the beginning.
Overall, it was enjoyable, and a nice take on the Faery world and the King Arthur myth.
This book did tell us a little bit of a different story. The sad conclusion for one of the characters.
