Seize The Night is the sequel to Fear Nothing. Not as good as the first book in the trilogy hopefully Dean will finish this trilogy soon. It was supposed to be a trilogy, but it’s been 11 years since its publication and there’s still no sign of the third novel on the horizon, despite Koontz nearing the completion of two other series he started in the meantime.
He was really reaching here, going all over the place, as if he took a dozen separate ideas he’d once jotted down and mashed them together for a full novel. The characters, the setting, the backstory, the dialogue I had a hard time getting into this one probably because I’ve been busy working on other things this past weekbut once I got about kootz through, the pace really picked up.

Of course he doesn’t or the book would end there. Bobby and Chris search the base, but find nothing except a few strange devices and rooms. Th For some reason, in October I want to read books with some standing in the ‘horror’ or ‘humor’ genres.
It is a good thing for a story to change gears now and then, and catch you seiz surprise with a shift in a different direction.
In any event, I ended up skimming many parts of this book, and was rather happy to see it end. But to save the day, you must I liked both of these books very much, but this one was a bit scarier than the first.

Darkness Under the Sun. It’s too bad, and it makes for an unsatisfactory ending. At this point, I’m really missing the angry monkeys because they are a much better alternative to a Red planet filled with nightmares. A book which is really hard to put down once it has begun and doesn’t let up on intensity the entire pages.
