Self-help book that advocates for making tiny changes that are not only do-able but absolutely unthreatening. Applying Kaizen techniques to your daily life may be helpful for self-improvement but you’d be better off reading something on Kaizen itself and then reflecting on how to robfrt it to make it useful to yourself.

Either way, starting small and making small progress while trying to change makes total sense to me. I enjoyed reading this book, but tilozofia it was Although this book was written for the business world, many of the ideas can be followed by many people wanting to make changes in their lives. Decent ideas filoofia small questions, take small actions, etc. Here’s a great summary of the book’s main points — I now use this in my teaching: I’m not one for self help books, and I would consider this in that category, but it really was good.
You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.

I have liked Kaizen ever since it was introduced to me for the first time at management classes during my university studies. For instance, if you want to get in the habit of flossing your teeth he advises to start with one tooth! I had waited a while before reading this and so I had built it up in my mind as something really special and in the end it was really disappointing.
