In doing so he places the Renaissance architects who we know vlassical well — Alberti, Brunelleschi, Bramante, and Palladio, to name a few — in the context of this classical grammar, and demonstrates how they evolved it. Some of these items are dispatched sooner than the others. I read this for my history summeraon architecture course, and despite the eurocentric view, it’s just a fun read if you’re an architecture student who is fond of classical architecture and hearing it be described to you floats your boat.
